DESCRIPTION

SkyRaider 80mm ED APO Refractor is the ultimate Visual and Photographic instrument.  The 3.15" Fully multicoated FPL53 glass ED APO doublet refractor will give you both amazing high contrast views and tack sharp images!  At a 500mm F/6.25 focal length you are ready to Shoot The Moon and The Stars however you wish.  The ED glass used virtually eliminates any fringing leaving you breathless.  I'm going to say it, "There is no other refractor in this price range that will come close in visual and photographic performance." there I said it!

The SkyRaider comes with the standard 2" patented Dual Speed 10:1 Rotating Focuser, not only will it hold your eyepiece or camera in place but allow you to easily frame your target using the built in rotator.  Also included is the standard 2" to 1.25" adapter so it will use all your 1.25" or 2" accessories, comes with brass compression rings throughout.   

The telescope has two 1/4-20 threads on the bottom of the standard Vixen style built in foot, letting you set this into any Vixen Style saddle plate with no additional adapters needed.  Or thread this onto any photography tripod for your daytime or 'grab and go' observing needs!
